Imagine spending a night with the company of great friends and other creative minds to drink and paint. In Cocktails and Canvas, we provide the partially sketched 11 x 14 canvas, paint, brushes, easels, aprons, and instructor. We also provide the cups, mixers, snacks, and some red and white wine. Whether you’re a natural artist or not, you’re learning basic acrylic painting skills and creating your very own masterpiece. You won't walk out of here as a master, but you sure can have a very nice copy of one. This summer, don’t just wine and dine out at a local beach bar, instead, wine, dine, and refine your art skills at VisArts.
The Fused Glass Plate Workshop is another hit attraction at VisArts. Create your own beautiful fused glass plate in one fun two-hour session. Students of all skill levels will cut and layer glass, use frit and stringers, and produce a beautiful 6 x 6 plate or 4 x 8 dish. You design and create the work of art and leave it for us to let the kilns work their magic. Come back two weeks later and be prepared to be amazed. Why spend money on designer crafted dishware, when you can learn the skills to craft your own beautiful piece. Heat up your summer plans with glass fusing ventures.?
