The Artists have been residents of VisArts for a little-over two years. Although they share one space, each artist brings in their own unique style and skills to the studio. Ranging from felting and embellishing wool to knitting metal to dying and stitching, the artists draw on many different techniques to create beautiful pieces of art. For example, Floris Flam hand dyes her quilts while using photographic techniques to create a color-textured vibrance to the piece. While Marla Rudnick uses a knitting technique for metal to create her wall pieces.

The objective of At Home with Fiber Art is to showcase fiber art that be placed around the home. Most of the pieces exhibited are hand-crafted wall hangings, vessel pieces, and ornamental objects. It's an exhibit worth seeing.
