The wheel is not the only way to work with clay. For millennium artisans have used handbuilding techniques to create both functional and decorative pottery. We go back to these roots and teach how to use traditional handbuilding techniques such as pinch, slab, coil, tile-making, and slump molding to create contemporary and non-traditional functional and sculptural pottery. All in all it's a new way to explore clay. No experience needed and no experience on the potters wheel needed. Tuition includes Open Studio on Sunday.
