VisArts offers arts education classes for all ages from toddlers to senior citizens. Our classes range from beginning to advanced and we have something for the professional artists as well as those looking to bring creativity and art into their lives on a personal level. We have a wide range of ceramics classes in both the wheel and handbuilding and special interest topics such as surface decoration.

Our painting and drawing classes include beginning as well as advanced drawing classes for children, young adults and adults. We offer instruction in acrylics, oils, watercolors and life drawing.

Our digital arts program includes a wide variety of courses in Photoshop as well as digital photography. In glass we offer fused glass instruction as well as a weekly Open Studio where participants work on projects of their choice.

Woodworking classes range from the introduction to the advanced level and we have a young adults Open Studio (drop-in basis) every Wednesday.

When it comes to arts education, VisArts has it covered. We work with homeschool groups, scouting groups and inclusive education providers. We also will offer classes in a particular area of interest for groups of 5 or more.

VisArts’ summer and spring break camp program provides children with the opportunity to explore ceramics, glass, drawing and painting and photography on a daily basis. Students participate in a variety of activities throughout the program’s four two-week sessions.
