We put the "Art" in Party!

VisArts is proud to offer Birthday Parties, every Saturday and Sunday from 12-2pm or 3-5pm.  Leave the planning to us!  Our birthday parties are led by professional art instructors who are great with children.  Choose from a variety of fun and exciting art projects.  Let our party planners set up and direct the party projects.  Kids enjoy cake and refreshments too.  Everyone leaves with an armful of creations and a smile.

  • The cost for the birthday package is $300 for 12 children, 2 hour party, (which includes all art-related supplies), age range 4-12. Also includes a qualified art teacher, room decoration, and assistance with setup & cleanup.  Additional children at $10/child.
  • 50% deposit due upon registration, with balance due 13 business days prior to party.
  • Participants cancelling 13 business days prior to the party date will be refunded their deposit, less a $25 administration fee.  After this date, no refunds will be given.
  • One chaperone must be present for every 6 children, but additional adults are always welcome to join (up to 25 total guests, including children).
  • Projects led by a qualified art teacher
  • Staff assistance with setup & cleanup

 

Art Masters Age 6-10 
Create two art works in the style of one of the “Old Masters” (Van Gogh, Renoir or Picasso) or be inspired by the “New Masters” (Kandinsky, Haring or Chihuly).  Your guests will leave with artworks worthy of being framed!

Ceramics Age 6-12
Create a slab or pinch project from scratch to be fired. Next learn how ceramic pieces are created by watching a slip casting demonstration. Then guests will select from a variety of pre-bisqued pieces and glaze them. Projects will be ready for pick up one week later. Additional Ceramics fee- $5.00 per child.

Fused Glass Age 7-12
Create your own designs with glass! Choose from several projects: wind chime, window hanging, picture frame and magnets.  Participants will do one large and one small project during the party.  Projects will be ready for pick up one week later.  Additional Glass fee- $5.00 per child

NEW! My Brick Birthday Age 6-10 (teen parties available)
This party is perfect for the LEGO fan in your family! Children will build a race car out of LEGO bricks and then see how many Mini Figures they can knock over on an all-LEGO race track. Then, they will work in teams to build the highest tower they can. The party concludes with every child winning a Collectible Mini Figure they can then use to NinjaGo battle against each other. Other LEGO games will be played if time prevails and everyone gets to keep their LEGO car and Mini Figure. Girl parties will include a LEGO bracelet craft too.
