Come make your personalized impression mug while enjoying merlot, white wine and soda! Students are invited to bring in objects with exciting textures such as leaves, cloth, fossils, lace and personal memorabilia to incorporate into their mugs. A wheel throwing demonstration begins the class and then students are provided wet per-thrown mugs to ornament and glaze. Pieces will be ready for pick-up two weeks after class.

Students of all skill levels will cut and layer glass, use frit and stringers and produce a beautiful 6 x 6 plate or 4 x 8 dish. You design and create the work of art and leave it for us to let the kilns work their magic. Come back two weeks later and be prepared to be amazed.

Every student will finish this series with lots more painting knowledge and their very own "16 X 20" "masterpiece." For the first two weeks students will learn about mixing paint, painting techniques and practice excercises geared specifically toward the final painting. The last three weeks all of the students will be working on the same painting and finish the class with their own masterpiece.
