Galleries are only open to the public when exhibitions are on view. Please check exhibition dates when planning your visit.

Kaplan Gallery (second floor)

The Kaplan Gallery continues VisArts’ 25 year tradition of presenting outstanding exhibitions featuring art from local, national, and international artists. Kaplan Gallery shows present concepts and themes meant to enlighten, inspire and educate.

Gibbs Street Gallery (first floor)

Experimentation and innovation are the driving forces behind Gibbs Street Gallery exhibitions. The gallery’s dramatic glass walls and towering 16-foot ceiling provide an exciting venue for experimental shows incorporating sound, light and performance art.

Common Ground Gallery (second floor)

The Common Ground Gallery is reserved for artists and art groups from the local community. Shows feature work presented by the Rockville Arts League and Hidden Rockville as well as local school groups and other community organizations.
