Thursdays May 10 and May 17 7:00 pm - 9:00 p.m. Tuition: $75.00 includes all materials On the first Thursday students will work in the digital lab and learn how to transfer a photograph from a colored image to a high contrast black and white photo to be used as a transfer to ceramic. On the second Thursday the instructor will demonstrate the transfer process step-by-step and then students will transfer their work onto leather hard tiles. The end product is a fired tile with a personalized transfer. Once this technique is mastered, it opens up a new world of decorative finish for ceramics. Photographs for transfer must be brought in digital form either burned onto a CD or saved on a flash drive. Students MAY NOT bring original printed photographs.
